U.S. Army Names CII 2010 DPW Support Contractor of the Year
Chugach Industries Inc., (CII), a fully-owned subsidiary of Chugach Alaska Corporation, was recognized by the U.S. Army Installation Management Command (IMCOM) as the Directorate of Public Works (DPW), 2010 Support Contractor of the Year for its support to the U.S. Army Garrison-Picatinny Arsenal. The Directorate of Public Works Awards Program affords the opportunity to recognize excellence in the execution and management of the public works, base operations, real property maintenance and Army family housing missions.
Particularly noteworthy was IMCOM citing exceptional service, a commitment to excellence, professionalism, and delivery of exceptional products every time called upon in regards to CII’s performance.
Currently in the sixth year of a Fixed Price Incentive (Award Term) contract, CII provides the arsenal with a team of 235 highly dedicated and professional employees and has received the maximum option award at every evaluation board to date. In 2010, Chugach supported the DoD at more than 33 installations worldwide.
