Not sure if you have noticed lately but Chugach is going green and saving paper! We now have all our newsletters, upcoming events, and Annual Reports online – and now you can sign up your Chugach descendants! If you have already been approved membership to the portal, now is time to also register your descendants (children and grandchildren).
Just like many other regional corporations we have made it easier for you to sign up each one of your Chugach descendants through a secure form on the Internet. You will not need a username or password to submit the information online, but you will need to send in copies of their CIB (Certificate of Indian Blood) and Birth Certificate to complete the descendant registration. All copies of these important documents will be sent back to you. We will not be asking people for social security numbers on this form due to online security concerns.
Chugach Alaska Corporation is going to hold a drawing with a prize of $500 to a lucky descendant! The winner will be drawn from the people who register by December 31, 2010!
Who is eligible? Anyone who is a descendant of a voting CAC shareholder. For purposes of this program a descendant is defined as child or grandchild.
