Short, simple Alaska Marketplace Applications are due August 1, 2011. For the first time ever, 2011 participants may choose between two different tracks:
• Business/Nonprofit Plan: Submit a full Business or Nonprofit Plan for a chance to compete for seed money at the final Marketplace competition during the AFN Convention in October 2011 in Anchorage.
• Essay: Submit an essay to compete for one of six fixed awards, one for each of the competition sub-themes, plus one additional category for Alaska Native writers.
