BACKGROUND


Chugach World Services, Inc., an 8(a) and small disadvantaged business, is a wholly owned subsidiary corporation of Chugach Alaska Corporation (CAC).  CAC was formed in 1972 as an ANCSA (Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act) Corporation.  A nine member Board of Directors, elected from more than 2,200 shareholders, directs CAC’s management team.  CWSI, has the full support and backing of its parent corporation and sister subsidiary companies (CGSI, CSSI, CMI, CII, and CMSI).  Furthermore, the resources of  CAC and CWSI’s sister companies - workforce, management, facilities or other resources - will be provided and relied upon as required for contract performance.

CWSI provides global design-build services, including but not limited to A/E design, construction management, project execution, and engineering support services.  CWSI’s team has the training and experience to address a wide variety of design and engineering requirements.  CWSI has the technical capabilities and resources necessary to successfully complete a project of any size around the globe.  Our full-service offerings result in projects that are managed efficiently and effectively.    

TECHNOLOGIES

CWSI is in tune with contemporary technology and how it can be applied to achieve your strategic goals.  We use the latest computer aided design and drafting software to meet specific customer requirements to include AutoCAD software and 3-D modeling.

LOCATIONS

CWSI’s Engineering Pacific Division is located in Tumon, Guam.  Regional offices are located in McLean, Virginia and Honolulu, Hawaii.  CWSI is headquartered in Anchorage, Alaska.
