Oil Spill Readiness, Prevention and Response:

The oil spill teams who work at the Valdez Marine Terminal are made of employees from Alyeska Service Company’s Ship Escort Response System (SERVS) and TCC (a LLC managed by a Chugach subsidiary). TCC’s mission is to prevent oil spills by assisting tankers in safe navigation through Prince William Sound, and to protect the environment by providing effective response serves to the Valdez Marine Terminal and Alaska crude oil shippers.

For nearly two decades, whether on land, sea, or river; during winter, summer, day or night; TCC has done it all. At the heart of this organization is one of the largest and most skilled workforces in the industry. TCC personnel are experts in the operation and maintenance of the latest response equipment as well as its use in a myriad of complex strategies and tactics.
